NOTHING. I decided yesterday morning that I would go on a COMPLETE MEDIA BLACKOUT during the day. At home, I decided I would extend it through the evening. So, after putting the kids to bed, I cleaned up the house, did the laundry, listened to some music, read, and did a little work. No TV, no internet, nothing. It was nice and it was peaceful. No worrying, watching, and hand wringing, just quiet.
Even after my wife got home from her knitting clique, she watched TV while we talked (I sat so I couldn't see the TV) and then went to bed.
Soon I'll be back to my regular addiction, but an evening outside the media envelope was a pleasant one.
